New, complete, exact replacement VU Meter lampholder kit for all UA and UREI LA-3A models.

This kit can be used for installing lamps on a standard Modutec black case 2.25 by 3 VU meter in nearly any piece of UREI gear. This same VU meter was used in many other pieces of gear and broadcast consoles manufactured the 1970's and 1980's.

The kit includes 1 left bracket, 1 right bracket, 2 bayonet lamp holders, 2 #1819 lamps, and all the hardware needed to assemble the parts. (The meter itself is not included with this lot, but we sell two versions separately - ebay item numbers 221401806838 and 221236609669.)

The 2nd photo in this listing shows a typical UREI/UA black face meter with the kit installed. Approximately 1.2 inches of vertical clearance is needed above the top of the VU meter, though you can get away with about 1 inch, if the lamp socket terminals are folded down or clipped short. If clearance is tight, the area above the sockets should be insulated.
