This unit has recently been fully recapped, refurbished, and calibrated. It looks and sounds great. It has excellent, near new, cosmetics.

There were several models within this range made by ADR and the differences can be confusing. This model, the F769X-RS, has two "Compex" sections that includes a limiter, compressor, gate, and expander. 

The Compex design uses a low distortion FET, with a great deal of parametric control. The Threshold, Ratio, and Release controls are all stepped attenuators, allowing precise set up and repeatability. Line voltage is 120, but it can be internally re-jumpered for 240. A copy (not original) of the owners manual is included.

Inputs: 2 XLR inputs, transformerless unbalanced, 10K impedance, pin 2 hot

Outputs: 2 XLR outputs, transformerless unbalanced, 150 ohms impedance, pin 2 hot

Maximum gain: approx 34 db.  Maximum output level: 18 dbu. 

Distortion: Less than .1% with compressor at +10 db threshold

Frequency response: 30 Hz to 20 kHz + 0 db, -.5 db

AC power input: 50/60 Hz, 115/230 VAC (selected via internal jumpers)
