Airpot 45121-1 “B” Dashpot for MCI Sony Tape Recorders, Works Well, but the nut is missing from the end of the plunger rod. It was removed from a JH-24 tape tech but this model was also used on the JH-114 and JH-110. No doubt it was used in many other applications, besides tape machines. The part has a one way valve such that the plunger can be pressed in with very little resistance, but several ounces of force is needed to pull the plunger out. The amount of resistance is controlled by a screw adjustment on the valve. It’s in good working order and will be packed carefully.
