PLEASE NOTE: This is a 15 volt VCA that can only be used on 160S and 160SL models that are set up for +/- 15 VDC VCA power rails. About half the models in use have had this mod, which is explained in a dbx service bulletin. The only way to determine whether a unit has been converted to +/- !% is to disassemble the unit and measure the voltages on the V8 pins. If this VCA is installed in a 160S or 160SL that is 24 volts it will be damaged.
